August 2023
The MCO beginning
During Malaysia's Movement Control Order, three brothers saw a way to connect people through durian when much of the city was quiet.
They started with fruit from family connections in Raub and grew into something bigger: fresh durian, honest service, and a taste of normal life for their customers.
January 2024
The CommonsKL chapter
Durian Bros opened at CommonsKL, a modern space to showcase premium varieties and welcome food lovers from across Kuala Lumpur.
The location helped the team build a destination for tasting, learning, and sharing Malaysian durian culture.
2024
Dianping Top 1 recognition
Durian Bros reached the number one ranking on Dianping, reflecting thousands of reviews praising fruit quality, service, and cultural guidance.
International recognition showed that their focus on premium durian and customer education resonated far beyond Bukit Bintang.
2025
Durian cultural exchange
With the Malaysian Chinese Youth Association, the team hosted a durian cultural exchange in Raub with more than 50 young participants.
Through tasting, workshops, and community programmes, Durian Bros helps preserve and share durian heritage with the next generation.
